Cities mutate, age, renew, gobble themselves up. These back streets of Méndez Álvaro, in front of the REPSOL complex, were one of the last spots where you could find sclassical industrial architecture in Madrid. In 2016, its demolition began with the intention of turning that environment into a residential area with modern apartment buildings. Here is our tribute to this little corner of Madrid.
