Perhaps one of the most spectacular and photogenic soccer fields in Madrid; with Manuela Carmena’s arrival to the mayor’s office in 2014, she planned to convert it into a threshing floor, which is what it originally was. The sand was removed and the stones that consolidated the soil of the floor emerged to “separate the grain from the straw”, which is traditionally said in Spain.
This panoramic view of Madrid, beyond its beauty, has a lot of history, since from this hill and other points, Franco´s army bombed Madrid in its final siege. An essential walk for anyone visiting the Casa de Campo in Madrid and a great viewpoint to get an alternative perspective of the city.
